I became a caregiver because I love helping people. It has enriched me in more ways than I can say. I started caring for my terminally ill father and after that part of my journey was over I realized that this is my calling. I am proud of the personal independence I have gained for others and deeply understand the need for one's personal control. I am a retired RN but continue in caregiving as it is my passion. I also foster cats an dogs for the local SPCA and am involved in pet adoptions.
