I have been a nursing assistant for 13 years. I have worked the majority of my career on the Med/ Surgical department. I have worked with all types of patients. I also was chosen to be on the Ortho department for patients that had knee, hip, and back surgeries. I have wanted to be a nurse since I was 7 years old and have always had a heart to help and care for others. I was raised by my grandmother and I helped take care of her when she got older and until she passed away four years ago. I am in school to become an RN and I feel like nursing and caring for others has always been my calling. I am a hard worker and very efficient.
