My name is Angelina and I have been a CNA/caregiver for the past 11 years. When I was about 7 years old my grandfather was diagnosed with Diabetes and a few short years into it he got his first amputation surgery starting with a toe and eventually below his right knee. I used to see the nurses come in and the look on his face when he would see them walk through the door was priceless. They had such a huge impact on his life and made his journey much more easier and comfortable for him. At the young age of 7 I knew that I wanted to grow up to be just like those nurese who helped my grandpa out in the most difficult time of his life. With that being said; making the decision to be in the medical field has been my biggest achievement along with going to nursing school and in a few short months getting my LVN license.
