I like to be very light-hearted, using humor when appropriate, to keep my clients happy and create a very positive atmosphere. I had a great mentor whom my out-of-state parents had hired. They always looked forward to their interactions with her, as much as the duties she performed . She treated them with respect and friendliness - like family! I also had great enjoyment teaching senior citizens how to write their memoirs. That was my first introduction to working with a retired population in an informative and fun recreational exercise. As a credentialed teacher I had been recruited to take on that activity which was such a rich experience of inspiration, humor and a surprise at every turn! I never really knew what a great resource the adult population has to offer. I am filled with gratitude! I was inspired to return to classes and take anatomy and physiology to aid my skills and certification with patient care. I am CPR certified with the American Red Cross and current with all inoculations including Hep C and TB chest x-ray. This month I am finishing up the classes I teach for the Vista Unified School District.
