I started work as a Caregiver in 2008. I left my full time job to care for my sick mother who had just been hospitalized and needed full time care at home. This was the turning point in my career. After mom got better and stronger, I decided to continue work in this field and I became a live in Caregiver caring for Seniors with Demetria/Alzheimer and stroke for awhile until I was able to do the CNA program in San Jose in 2012. After attaining my certificate, I moved on to other areas of care including care for paraplegic and quadriplegics, cancer patients and hospice care. I have loved all my experiences over the years and though some may have been more challenging than others, I remained positive. Most importantly, my work as a Caregiver has taught me so much about basic human kindness, love, patience, humility, self control, and perseverance and it's a feeling that brings peace to my heart.
