Hello! My name is Jasmin and I look foward to meeting you. I am compassionate, energetic, and patient when providing care for any patient in need. From my babysitting days as a pre-teen to now an experienced CNA in my adult life, caring for people and provided them with motivation and support has always been my goal to achieve. I have worked as a CNA for 3 years and enjoy helping patients recover from surgery, providing care with daily activities, such as grooming and dressing, make them comfortable when in hospice, or simply being a companion when they just need someone to talk to. I love being able to make patients smile, help them achieve their milestones when recovering, listening to their stories, and creating patient to nurse relationships. I feel it is important your patient trusts you and knows they can count on you for whatever needs need to be met. What attracted me to become a caregiver was my love for helping others. My family often says I have had motherly instincts since I was a child playing with my babydolls and helping raise my brothers and sister. After all, it does take a village to raise children! What I enjoy most about being a nurse is making my patients happy. They are my number one priority as well as their safety. I love going above an beyond when they are uncomfortable. Whether by repositioning them with pillows for support, ice in their water, a box of tissues within reach, a warm bath to relax in, even preparing their favorite snack or meal for them to enjoy. A personal achievement I am proud of is creating friendships and trust between myself and my patients. I love seeing their faces when a shift begins and knowing I will be their assigned CNA, gets them excited and relaxed. Building that foundation with them enables them to feel peace and comfort.
