About Laurel

I have worked full-time as a caregiver for more than 10 years, the last 4 as a licensed CNA and I love what I do. Having been the sole caregiver for my disabled parents for so long, I understand the need for families to find someone to care for their loved ones as if they were their own. I fully believe in providing excellent and sensitive care so as to best assist the patient with all of their healthcare needs. I feel that every patient should be able to find such standard of care so as to benefit their quality of life and maintain their dignity. I can provide a copy of my livescan results which are from 08/04/2016 and performed by Castlebranch.

Why did I become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because of my desire to help others especially the elderly. My passion and dedication for seniors is very important to me. Nothing brings me great pleasure in assisting people that are in need of some care. My greatest achievement in life are my children. I am a mother of four and a grandmother of six. Teaching my children to respect and help others gives me the satisfaction that when in some giving time I need help, they will assist me just like I assist and care for others in the same manner. I'm not just a caregiver but a friend and if God gave me the patience, understanding and caring way to help others than I am here for that. God bless you and hope to assist anyone in need.

I became a Caregiver because I enjoy helping others. I like being able to assist others with chores and duties they cannot fulfill themselves, as well as being a companion to the elderly. A personal achievement I have made is making a difference in someone else's life. I have achieved this by tutoring many students within various school districts in all subjects, and youths both incarcerated and released, but were on probation. I have earned my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Admin/Human Services, and plan to start on my Master's degree in the near future in Social work or Psychology. I love spending time with family and worship my four grandsons, they are a true blessing to me! ***My rates vary depending on the type of care needed and for multiple people. I also charge double time on holidays. Thank you, and have a wonderful day!!!
