i became a caregiver 4 years after my great grandmother passed away. i always loved helping her then i use to visit her and other residents when she was in a skilled facility. i love being able to help the elderly and talking to them about their past and their experiences. a personal achievement i would have to say is being able to provide for my kids. something about myself...... I have 5 years experience in care giving i worked in a facility first for almost 4 1/2 years after that I worked for a residential services doing in home care for comfort keepers. I'm very patient polite and honest and on time and always ready to learn something new.
