I became a caregiver because I felt a calling by God to enter the profession. I have a background caring for children as nanny and preschool teacher. I knew my skills and expertise in this area would aid me in providing experienced and compassionate care for seniors. While working with children I developed patience, flexibility, adaptability and better communication skills. I am punctual, dependable, trustworthy and serious about safety standards. I enjoy getting to know my clients' unique personalities, sharing common interests with them, and helping them participate in activities of daily living successfully. I delight in being a companion to senior citizens, and hearing their stories. I feel satisfaction when I know that caring for my client enables her to spend her "golden years" in the comfort of her own home. Note: I am unavailable evenings and weekends.
