My name is Ashley King-Doucakis and I enjoy long walks on the beach. :) My personality has derived from my upbringing. I grew up in a small family --just my older brother, my mother, and myself-- and spent my teenage years caring for my sick mother until the day she passed in 2009. Everything from preparing her lunches and outfits for her trips to dialysis to dressing her wounds. You name it, I did it. It was during those years when, after meeting and speaking with her nurses, I decided that being a caregiver both for my family and for others is what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Seeing a genuine smile and knowing that you have made a difference in someone's life -even if just for a day- is the best feeling in the world. I have 5+ years experience as a caregiver. I have practiced everything from maintaining someones personal hygiene, preparing and administering medications, and housekeeping. I am a quick learner and fall into routines fairly easily, thus I believe I would be a valuable asset to you, your company, and/or your family.
