Hey, I'm Shakara Boles and for over the last 2 years and 4 months I been working with resident in a nursing home. I have a bachelors in psychology. But some where along the way I just fell in love with taking care of people. I knew that I wanted to help people but did not know it was by becoming a CNA. I'm very hardworking, determined, kind hearted, loving, and caring. Also ontop of working I am a mother of a 5 year old daughter and 6 months ago added another child into my daily routine my 4 year old niece. I'm a cheer coach ontop of that but never is to busy to take care of everything that's need to be done. I really didn't know what I would be doing after graduating school but before I graduated from college; I took a CNA course to make extra money but after doing it for so long I just fell in love with it all and I just couldn't leave it. I enjoy every moment about being a caregiver because I know I'm making a big difference into someone else life especially someone family member that they care for. It's never a dual moment having this as a career but it helps motivate you and keep you up on your toes to make sure that someone that is not related to you get all the help they need. I am proud of everything I have accomplish in my life time because I'm making a future that not only for me but my child and niece as well. One thing I am proud of that I can say is that becaming a CNA was the best decision I made because it helped me to become a better person and my love has grown even more because of this. I would not change any decision I made to become one.

I have firm but not to strong personality, l worked with my prior client until hi pass away (seven years), I have my profesional title as medical doctor from Mexico , but because of lack of language , and understanding I didn't pass my boards to practice medicine here. I am a good person, i believe in God, I have a good care of people, under my care, I cook good meals inheritance from my sister, I like to work with people taking care of them and their needs , talking to my patients, knowing them and their relatives , pass my board in Spanish to turn into medical doctor, deliver a baby, that is the most exciting experience for me.

I enjoyed helping others. Driving & serving my community is rewarding. Being disabled myself. Giving hope & encouragement to someone facing health crisis.Which left a spirit of Hopelessness.They were independent ;sickness made them become dependent individuals.I want to help in their transition.By helping with character traits. By me displaying hope, discipline, consistency & determination is a daily agenda for me & my company. Being a Caregiver/ Entrepreneur.Black owned was a great achievement.Now as of April 23,2018 I had a new hip installed.I endured!

I'm a dedicated person. I enjoy providing care to the elderly and sick. This is something that gives me joy when I see my clients able to meet their day to day needs. I'm honest and dependable. I am very caring and compassionate for the elderly and disable and I am very interested in assisting them with their daily activities and personal care and I am also very detailed . oriented love the one on one care. I've learned that if your heart is not in it then this profession is not for you I am looking for a family that I can dedicate my time, my experience, and most of all myself to bond, and grow with that family and with all that being said I thank you.

I have work with people who have Alzheimer's tracheotomy, dialysis I can take blood give insuline, dispense medicine, use a hoyer lift, change dipers give bed baths and showers assist in walking and help with physical and occupational therapy, I also cook and clean. I love being able to go into someone's household and be an asset to them helping to live out the the rest of their life or just helping them have the best quality of life living at home and being comfortable there. I am also a Medical Assistant and CPR and First Aide certified. I also have 16 years experience

I am a very outgoing person that loves people. I have been told I have a very bubbly personality. I like taking care of people and maybe even make a difference in their life. If I can make someone smile it fills me with joy. I was the first freshman to ever be nominated to go to the 2007 leadership conference. I also won a community care award in 2016.
