I'm a God fearing, transparent , easy going lady and ready to work under no supervision. After completing my high school, i started taking care of my grand parents and this attracted me to be a caregiver when I came here in the U.S. Since the most people I have been taking care of in this field of caregiving are old, I enjoy most especially socializing with them and learning more from them. My personal achievement; I'm proud of is taking good care of people the way i would also like to be taken care of .

I became a caregiver when I realize, no one else was going to be able to fill the needs of my granny, Granny had a stroke and blood disease but was ok .. I was in Atlanta about to open hair salon with my best friend, Meanwhile I get call from my daughter granny wasn't getting any better. A week later I went home to visit granny as I walked around the house and saw how poorly she was managing, I knew I had make a difficult choice. I walked away from my business ... and put my life on hold. as it were to care for my granny who have giving so much to this world ..It was a choice , but it was also true that choosing not to help her was not an option , Not a choice and obligation to the one we love.. Before granny pass she would always say to me .. you are God's choosing one.. Love ! After that I took care of my best friend mom,,and my neighbors love ones .. I've always know my calling was to help others at the same time I knew I wanted to be caregiver

I'm also a Navy veteran and owe all my discipline and morals for the job to my time served in the military. I'm familiar with different lifts, using medical supplies and equipment, preventative care and bandaging for wounds/ulcerated bedsores, blood pressure and glucose monitoring. I worked in an emergency room as lab, secretary, and multi skilled tech for 13 years so I have seen a little bit of everything.
