Hello, my name is Reco Battles. I have been in this field working for 8 years and counting! This is not just a "field" for me; this is a passion. I took care of my father whom had special needs until he passed. I took classes to gain certification to ensure I was giving him the best services possible. After my my father passed, I made a decision to continue helping others through personal care.

I have over 4 years of patient care professional experience and 12 years in experience caring for others alone. My need to care for others, my grandmother. Helping those who can't help themselves and just seeing their smile. Obtaining my degree in the Medical Field to help expand my life to assist others.

Hi. My name is Sharona (yes yes just like the song). Haha. I have done private personal care on and off for the last 16 yrs. I have taken a small break from 2016 until now. My father passed in 2016 which in turn took a heavy part of me with him. After my father died I moved in with my mother to help take care of her, so it wasn't a break per se. I am 40 years old with 2 children. I have a 16-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son. I love the outdoors. I like fishing, camping and just enjoying time with my family. Family is the most important thing to me. I guess that is why I have always loved working in home health. I was never the type of person that could work a job that I wasn't helping for the good to some point. Also, I am currently studying to obtain my BA in Human Services with a concentration in Child and Family Services. I would like to work with families by trying to help provide services once they are reunited. I'm a mom of 4, just trying to get back on my feet after a very abusive relationship. My grandmother was always a caregiver as I was a preteen and teenager, and I loved getting to go with her to help. One of her clients, Mrs. Cox, was literally like another grandmother to me, I still miss her today. I just figured if I enjoyed helping my grandma do this job so much when I was younger, surely I'd enjoy it just as much as an adult. And the feeling of helping people in their day to day life sounds amazing to me!
