I've spent the last 15 + years caring for my teenagers, their friends and their schools. if there was a place to help out I was usually there, and often stayed for years. my work experience is mostly in office administration, but this is not what I want to return to. I studied to be a drug and alcohol counselor, but would like to be able to help others as well, so I am looking into caregiver work. I would like to do something meaningful, and that I enjoy. I am a quick learner, and always up for a challenge. I have a ton of patience that I have developed over the years. I love learning new things, and I love helping people. I'm a great caregiver because I love my job and helping people. I was attracted to being a caretaker after taking care of my mother for ten years who had cancer. My favorite part of my job is being a companion. I have often felt like a family member to my clients. A personal achievement that I am always proud of is when my client improves because of my positive attitude and the exercises we do or day trips. I also make an excellent cup of tea.

I'm a very kind personality and down to earth, have soft voices and loving person, I'started taking care my parent for 10 yrs around 2000 until they both passed in2010 then i decided to reach out to other elderly and families who need help with their parents and loved one.

I am energetic and very social. What attracted me to be a caregiver was seeing my kind hearted mom help the elderly as a CNA. She does it with so much joy and that has inspired me. A personal achievement that I am proud of is when my patient and I formed a wonderful bond. My patient felt like a grandfather to me, and until his passing we enjoyed life together. He taught me about his love life, his single life, and about his love for sweets. I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to meet amazing people and help them.
