Hello my name is Christine I have been a care giver my whole life ..I started out by taking care of a little girl with spinabifada for 3 years she was a neighbor. I watched Francesca from a new born till 3 in a half...She had lots of surgeries shunt put in and replaced ...she had to use a cathiter couldn't really walk did lots of physical therapy with her...I loved taking care of her ..I follow her on Facebook still..she is 35 now...Then I took care of my mother , brothers and little sister my mom has had lots of medical problems..I use to take care of a little girl name Mary and her sister but Mary had Ceribal Palsy she required alot of care watch her 40 hours aweek well her mom was in nursing school...Then I took care of a man in his 70s who was legally blind...I cooked and cleaned for him took him shopping read his mail for him ..I raised 4 children 3 boys and my beautiful daughter I adopted from Russia...I took care of my grandma who lived with me for 8 years...She had a stroke and dragged her foot alittle she passed away 5 years ago...I started working at All for u home care because I love and need to take care of people.. Taking care of someone gives me purpose and makes me happy ...

Soon after I was offered a position as a private caregiver for a quadriplegic female and I absolutely loved it. To me there is no job more rewarding and fulfilling then care giving. My name is Elaine and I'm a great caregiver because, after looking after my father who had Alzheimer's for four years, I have the kind of experience and genuine compassion for seniors that I would want if I were looking for a caregiver. I have completed my CNA training, and am CPR certified. I've also completed several certificate courses in Safety, Memory Care, etc.. Safety is my number one priority. I'm all about fall prevention and have developed techniques to keep my clients as mobile and self-sufficient as possible while keeping them safe at the same time. For me, looking after elders is a privilege. I think that in this sometimes youth-obsessed culture, we can forget how much we all owe to the Greatest Generation. I love to talk to my clients about their experiences, their children, the music they loved, and anything else that brings a smile to their faces! From my father I learned about the music and culture of the 30's, 40's and 50's, and I love it when my clients sing their favorite songs or talk about what movies they liked from those days. I have been a caregiver for ten years. I love pampering my clients with facials, manicures, pedicures, foot massages, exercises and artwork projects. We moved up here from Southern California because my dad had cancer and asked us to move closer. We, my husband and I, saw him through his end of life process, then we were here for my mom.
