Hi, my name is Cindy and I live in Kelseyville, CA. I've been a caregiver for 20 years.

I've been a caregiver 15 years, also a mother of 3 beautiful children 2 boys and a girl. I've worked @ UCLA,V.A. Hospitals in the past. Caregiving is in my heart , seeing patients get better or comforting them during hospice. I'm an caring person eager to learn, teach and help in anyway possible.

I feel like I am caring, loving and patient individual, I like to care for others that need care, I have an hear to listen when someone needs someone to talk to, I don't mind helping others, it's a part of my trait. I once was going to school for nursing, but didn't finish, so I worked in the acute hospital and convalescent home, plus in-home care for quite a while. I love caring for the sick and disable. I like to try and help and encourage others to get better and not to quit. I saw a friend of mine hold on after she was diagnosed with breast cancer, when the doctor's had given up on her, that I was there to encourage her to not give up and she lived a healthy life for a little of two more years, when the the breast cancer attacked her again, and she was tired and gave up and died.

I have a lot experience working with elderly people. I have experience with both ( man , woman). I assisted them with daily activities. Took walks, helped with physical exercises. Assisted them to get in the shower and made sure he, she was safe. Did shopping and drove to doctors. I am an lovely person. I am organized, honest, patient, clean and responsible. I'm become Cna since 2008 I really like my job help the people make feel better. I'm hard worker, easy going , like to learn new skills and spend time with my patients. I'm good learner, fun, nice. I'm proud to be what I'm I need improve and learn more.

I'm a very caring person and have a passion for taking care of others, especially the elderly. I have been working as a Cna or caregiver since I was 18 and have always loved it. I had bladder cancer twice but beat it again this year and am now trying to find work again. My CNA License is expired due to me being sick with Cancer but I would like to do the classes and get it back now that I'm no longer sick. I've also taken several early childhood development classes as well as medical billing classes at Mendocino College.

I enjoy helping people by smiling and heart warming talking and laughing and sharing experiences and guidance. I cared for my own mother for 4 years while having Alzheimer's and cancer and assisted the Hospice workers with her personal care.

What I enjoy the most about being a care giver is, to be able to give care , comfort, and make someone fell secure is the most rewarding felling.
