Hello my name is Tammy. I have been doing caregiving for 32 + years. I have experience in physical therapy,occupational therapy. Hoyer lifts GI feeding tubed , colostomy bags, nebulizers, sleep apnea monitors and many more. I have alot of experience and not much I haven't done. I specialized and dementia and Alzheimer's. . I also have experience with hospice care.

I am patient and am able to read people well. I can balance the need for independence and need for care. My approach is to provide dignity and respect. I am adaptable and not afraid of a challenge. I have compassion and empathy and insight into others needs for privacy. I enjoy caregiving because it plays to my strengths and I am often enlightened by those I care for. I always look forward to learning something new about each individual I care for. I am observant, I listen closely to instruction and respect family member's wishes while only giving my insight and advice when asked for. When I am not sure what to do, I ask for support from well respected colleagues. People tell me I have a peaceful, calming presence that puts people at ease.

I have been a caregiver/provider or volunteer in the medical field since I was 10. I enjoy providing companionship and medical to all ages. I enjoy taking care of others. Knowing that I provided each individual with the best quality of care possible for that time in their journey. I'm most proud of maintaining a reputable character in the medical field in and out of homes.

When it comes to my personality, I am straight forward, honest with a touch of wittyness. I became a Caregiver because I Love to help people & found that alot of people are more worried about their selves instead of other individuals and I feel my calling is to be of service to others. I really enjoy the smiles I bring to people from my comforting knowledge and perceptive skills. I put a lot of heart and passion into what i do, I have been a caregiver for 12 years and have learned a lot about people. I try to understand what the client is going through, try to understand there emotions and feelings. I give my clients love, and friend ship.

I have worked as a CNA and facility and also private in-home care. I have been doing this type of work for about five years. I recently also became a certified Emergency medical responder. There are many reason's that I have become a caregiver. One major reason is because I love helping and taking care of people. I believe caregiving is one of the most rewarding jobs out in the work force. You learn so many new things about not just people but daily living everyday. You realize how different people are and the different needs that need to be meet for certain people. You also learn what unconditional love is. When you start doing a job like caregiving the person you are providing care for soon become like family. You usually spend a majority of time caring for them and there personal need you start sharing many different things. I also really enjoy listening to all the stories and adventures my recipients have been on. I am a very compassionate and loving person. I always put others needs before myself and like to make sure that there well taken care of. I am also very professional and responsible.
