I have taken several classes on Alzheimer's & Dementia I do lots of research on any new clients disability to learn all about it so I can help them & possibly learn new ways to help. I have a desire to help other people. I try to be kind and compassionate and understanding. I find that when I am helping other people it makes me feel good and love the person I am. I would say that my greatest accomplishment in this field is that I have had 2 jobs that lasted for 10 years each in this field. That is a huge accomplishment to me because in this field and great caregiver usually lasts about 3 months. I stayed with the families from my 1st day on the job until their parents last days on earth.
