Hello! My name is Elaine and I'm a great caregiver because, after looking after my father who had Alzheimer's for four years, I have the kind of experience and genuine compassion for seniors that I would want if I were looking for a caregiver. I have completed my CNA training, and am CPR certified. I've also completed several certificate courses in Safety, Memory Care, etc.. Safety is my number one priority. I'm all about fall prevention and have developed techniques to keep my clients as mobile and self-sufficient as possible while keeping them safe at the same time. For me, looking after elders is a privilege. I think that in this sometimes youth-obsessed culture, we can forget how much we all owe to the Greatest Generation. I love to talk to my clients about their experiences, their children, the music they loved, and anything else that brings a smile to their faces! From my father I learned about the music and culture of the 30's, 40's and 50's, and I love it when my clients sing their favorite songs or talk about what movies they liked from those days. I like to cook, so if your loved one has any favorite dishes I'm happy to make them. I can prepare fresh, healthy foods as well as fun desserts. I hope you will consider me for your Caregiver.

Nursing is a calling for me. Making sure that people receive the best possible care I am able to provide is my most important goal. I have 11+ years of hospitality experience with hotels and restaurants, but after years of feeling unfulfilled, I returned to school and began to transition into healthcare in 2019. I have a certification of completion for CNA school as well as previous CPR certification. I have been a child caregiver for 8+ years and working with elderly with disabilities for the past 2+ years. I'm very passionate about serving and helping others reach their fullest potential!

I have worked as a CNA and facility and also private in-home care. I have been doing this type of work for about five years. I recently also became a certified Emergency medical responder. Caregiving has been a passion of mine for far as I can remember. It started when I lived with my grandparents. I saw how they were treated by family, friends and caregivers and it made me want to help others and give what others deserve in their final stages of life. Something that I wish to fulfill in my life time would be to help as many people as I can, and to give part of my heart to as many people possible who would appreciate the care. If I could help an individual and their family in their time of need while giving them comfort would fulfill my dreams. I believe I have an abundance of love to give and I feel like it is why I was put on this planet. I have had some experience, but not as much as I would like. For the past couple of years I have been going to school for nursing and feel like it's suitable for my life again. Until then I would like to start working on some of my dreams-caregiving. One last thing that I do feel I should mention is that it is important for the patient to feel like I would be suitable for them, and for them to feel like it's a good fit, but for me to as well. This is important because the patient should always be happy and satisfied, but also when the caregiver is happy to be paired with the patient they can give the best possible care.
