Being a Caregiving is an extremely rewarding job. As a Caregivers I take care of our elders, the people who have given so much to this world. Taking care of people is something I'm very proud of. ... Some residents become lonely or sad, but being a great caregiver helpsthem change there mood for the better. What I enjoy most about caregiving is getting to help other people in there time of need.

I am a single mother of four. I have been a caregiver since 2011 and decided at the beginning of 2020 to take the next step to get my CNA. Taking care of others, especially the elderly, has been a passion of mine since I was just a little girl. Watching my grandparents help others in the community, and also people in our family, was such an inspiration. Helping someone and seeing the smile on their face gives me so much joy. I love what I do and I love building a connection with new people.

I started caregiving within my family when I was young teenager. Since I started caregiving I always felt good and honest about helping others who need it. I've been caregiving for 5 years and every time I walk into someone's home that feeling of being really eager to lend a helping hand never fades and the feeling of leaving someone's home after being caring and supportive and gentle makes me feel like a very accomplished person.
