I been a caregiver most of my life with caring for my grandfather who had cancer, my grandmother who had heart disease, and continue care of my mom who has arthritis..I have the compassion to understand their concerns. I became a caregiver because I like working with the elderly. I learn a lot just by listen to them talking about their lives. My achievement would be owning my own home. I started out taking a class on medical billing. I later went to Concord to get a medical assistant degree. I then took a class on phlebotomy. After all that I decided I wanted to be a nurse.

I believe that the best trait in me is determination. I like to encourage my patients to do as much as they can on their own with me their so that they do not lose their independance. My passion in the healthcare setting is unlimited and I have had the availability to attain employment in almost every role from PCA to NA. I love to put a smile on someones face especially when they have had a rough day or appointment. A personal achievement would be working full time and in nursing school as well as working on the RN-BSN while raising a child on my own.

In elementary my school nurse became my mentor ,I use to spend every break in the nurses office watching and admiring her as she Passionately care for the children's.
