I believe a great CNA is a person that truly cares about the wellbeing of a person. Treating people the same way as your own family. By doing this shows how much you care and love them. I grew up from a caring and loving family as well. I love taking care of people because I know I can make a difference in there life.

Some personality traits that help me to be a great caregiver are being compassionate this is a challenging job that requires a lot of tolerance for challenging situations. I keep an positive and have patience I am also great with communication I pay attention and very trustworthy. I'm a people person. I love to laugh and make everyone around me laugh also. I was raised by my grandparents. When my Granny became sick my grandma had two choices quit her job to take care of her or put her. I enjoy helping others reach their full potential to get better. I've been a caregiver for about seven years dealing with many different cultures. What I love so much about being a caregiver is helping people that can't or no longer help themselves. While being a caregiver I've learned that every clue has different needs which I'm comfortable with. Also I've private sat with an ALS patient caring for her day and night that required lots so it's basically nothing I can't do.
