Hi, my name is Michelle. I am a 50 year old mother of 3 and have one grandson that is 10 years old that I adore. I have spent my entire life caring for others, whether it be my family or clients. I feel like God has given me a gift of compassion that spills over in everything that I do. I have always had a passion for helping people. I have been to nursing school, but because of unforeseen circumstances, had to quit one month before graduating. I started working as a caregiver shortly after that about 10 years ago. I have worked for clients with dementia, Parkinson's disease, cancer and just for companionship. I have assisted with all ADL's, bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping, medication, ambulatory assistance, doctor appointments, running errands, etc. I love being able to help someone in the stage of life where most feel like they are a burden and useless. I try my best to help them feel independent and useful, as well as have dignity that they may feel they have lost. I always try my best to treat each client as I would my own family. Everyone deserves to feel loved and important. God says to treat everyone as you would want to be treated.

I have a chance to impact the lives of people based on the care I provide. I love what I do it's more than a job for me it's I love the elderly and making them happy !

My name is Tracy Johnson, I am a white female, 61 years old...Married of 40 years. I love to serve others. Being able to serve with being a encouragement to individuals and families of any need, no matter how big or small. I believe I have patience, compassion, empathy to serve loved ones. A personal achievement is I will and always will keep my faith.

I started doing homecare assistance work about nine years ago. I became strong in the field by learning the needs and care to the elderly community and I absolutely love this field. I have my associates in Allied health and Nursing and now working on my bachelor's. I have experience with dealing with just about all types of patients but most of all I'm compassionate with this field. I do have training in CPR and First Aid.

I've been a caregiver for about seven years dealing with many different cultures. What I love so much about being a caregiver is helping people that can't or no longer help themselves. While being a caregiver I've learned that every clue has different needs which I'm comfortable with. Also I've private sat with an ALS patient caring for her day and night that required lots so it's basically nothing I can't do.

I graduated from Ogeechee Technical College in 2000, worked in a couple of Doctor offices, Home Healthcare and nursing homes. I am a great team player and dedicates myself to my work. I am very punctual in my timing. I love working with people, my personality is very professional and efficient in all I do. I am a people's person and I love having fun. I am a Certified Activities Director that loves to show my creative side. My motto is "Treat people how you want to be treated. "

I am a good caregiver because I enjoy working with people. I am Companionable, a good listener, communicate well, trustworthy, dependable, always attend to my clients' needs. I became a Caregiver because I felt a connection to anyone who needed my help. I love being able to apply my skills to their needs. I enjoy listening to their words of wisdom and if they can't communicate I enjoy just being a companion to them.
