What attracted me to caregiving is when my my older sister was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor that made her go blind and a few weeks later my grandfather was diagnosed with dementia. I started taking care of him because I did not want him placed in a nursing. I also enjoy listening to people reminisce about the past and learning new things

I have learned that I am a leader, I have been lead caregiver for several of my patients in charge of scheduling, taking care of all household needs and total patient care.
