I love being a caregiver because,careing for other and helping someone every day is a very important part of my life. I try every day to do my help to others in some way,that is why I be came a caregiver. I m honesty,truthful, trustworthy,dependable and have a lot of love to give.

People always need to be treated with dignity and respect but particularly so when they are ill or injured. I am an excellent listener and communicator as these are skills necessary to help someone who needs care to be trusting of my abilities. My CPR and first aid certifications expired in Aug. but I would be more than willing to renew these if offered a position. I have been a caregiver previously and performed Phys Therapy exercises, bathing, dressing, cooking, transportation to social events and doctors and hospital testing appointments, cleaning and many other necessities.

Im a great care giver because I believe in helping others who can't help theirselves. I'm a single mom of 2 and I'm proud to say I've made it this far by myself. I have some college credits and looking to further my education in nursing

I grew up with my mom in & out of the hospital due to cancer & have always had a drawn connection to health care. Junior year in high school I took a CNA class, Senior year I transferred to EMT class. I didn't graduate with either due to moving a lot. In 2020 , shortly after COVID I had a strong desire to come back to health care. I took a CNA class in Covington, Indiana & didn't care for the nursing home environment. I decided to take college courses for Massage Therapy, fell in love with it & all it's healing properties. I moved to Terrehaute , Indiana and decided it was time to go back to nursing but, didn't want to go to a nursing home. I found Help at Home and become an Aide with them, it was by far the best job I have ever had. I had the opportunity to be in the health field doing what I love but also having that time to have companionship & good relationships with my patients.
