I've been in healthcare for over 14 plus year im very compassionate in what I do and I take pride in caring for those in need It brings joy to me to be able to help the senior population in their daily acts of living im also a very dependable team player who can multitask but still get the job done the correct way health care has changed so much with Covid and it's a pleasure to still be able to do what I love doing is definitely an accomplishment to be proud of I feel my experience would be a great fit to any senior home that needs care

I am mature, dependable, honest, kind, compassionate, well read, intelligent, great at multi-tasking, and have a lot of experience caring for dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I have experience with bed ridden and chair bound patients and their overall care.

I grew up with a huge family, my mother was a Foster care provider, my dad was a Chief Fireman, I am the youngest of 8children, I grew up watching my mom take care of handicapped children my entire life, I always loved seeing how happy it made her to be able to help someone, even if it were just by giving that child love, I've grown to follow her footsteps and I just love being able to help someone if I can, even if can't make them better health wise, I can help them feel better emotionally, everyone deserves the BEST CARE POSSIBLE, that's why I love doing this job! I'm experienced in all aspects of Nursing, I've done pretty much everything expected, I am Certified in Nursing, I'm in school for Phlebotomy, I worked 15yrs in Dementia Care, as well as Alzheimers. I'm very fun to be around and love the new experiences with each client.

As a Minister it is important to me to live by the Golden Rule, to treat others as you want to be treated. It is an honor & privilege for me to help those who cannot help themselves. Treating all people with kindness and respect is a lost quality in today's society, but it is literally my calling to be a true friend to all. I thought having a high paying career and managing a large firm was my dream until I realized that that was the worlds dream for me. I could not find peace in these types of careers because my calling is to serve others.

I treat my clients like family, and treat them with dignity and respect. I am a caretaker by nature, and enjoy using humor to brighten someone's day. I left a high powered job downtown to follow my heart and care for those in need.

A caregiver isn't a job for just anyone. You have to have special characteristics to provide excellent care, I am honest, trustworthy, friendly, punctual, caring, good listener, patient and selfless. My happiness comes from helping others. As I grew up I took care of myself, as a teen I moved in with my grandparents so I could take care of them ever since then it's always been my dream to help others. Also I have worked in nursing homes and it broke my heart to see how residents are cared for. People seem happier in their own homes so if there is something I can do to help them stay in their home I will do it. Through the years I've had several clients, I have never had a client that has not liked me. I am proud to say that I have brought happiness to other people's lives and provided the best care that I could.

I became a caregiver simply because its what is in my heart. I have a passion for helping those who cannot help theirself. If I can put a smile on my residents face or make them laugh, it puts such happiness in my heart. I also became caregiver cause I know all to well how it is to lose loved ones. I know that life isnt remembered by the valuables but about the kind of person you are and that all that is remembered in the end is how you loved and what kind of person you were. I love being a caregiver cause not only am I there for them but without knowing it they are there for me in return. I listen and learn from them. To hear a resident say great things about the care I give is a great feeling but what I love most is a simple Thank you. It assures me that im appreciates and my hard work isnt taken for granted. I love the one on one time that I get to spend with a resident, it also allows me to understand where they are coming from and what their level of need is, due to not all needs being met are physical. The personal achievements that I am proud of are raising money for kids suffering with cancer and becoming a certified nursing assistant. I am a caring person with a lot of understanding and empathy. I really enjoy seeing people get better. I have watched people bounce back from being very ill and near passing. I also know that, that is not always the case.
