I have been doing home health care for 20 years, I love working with the elderly/disabled. I love helping people in need, and providing companionship. I received my Habilitation Aide certificate 1996. CPR & First Aide certified.

I am one of a kind, since i have been young i have always wanted to help others..That why i picked my profession in healthcare, who wouldnt love me, im very friendly, loving, caring individual that light up a room.. what attracted me to being a caregiver is the joy in happiness i gave to the clients, patients, in there family by doing my job. What i love most is the clients in being there for them in making there day joyful in happy. People always need to be treated with dignity and respect but particularly so when they are ill or injured. I am an excellent listener and communicator as these are skills necessary to help someone who needs care to be trusting of my abilities. My CPR and first aid certifications expired in Aug. but I would be more than willing to renew these if offered a position. I have been a caregiver previously and performed Phys Therapy exercises, bathing, dressing, cooking, transportation to social events and doctors and hospital testing appointments, cleaning and many other necessities.

I'm a former military spouse and mother of 3 that spent 4 years in Europe. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. I'm open, honest and welcome building lasting relationships. I'm very caring, loving and will go above and beyond to take care of your loved one. I've worked as an Administrator in Training Social Service Director, Dietary Manager all in long-term care. I have also been a business office manager in Psychiatry and was a Resident Assistant at an assistant living. Ever since I was young, I've always enjoy taking care of my grandparents weather I was painting toenails, shaving legs or giving a haircut or helping to house chores that were difficult for them. It always put a smile on my face. Not only do I enjoy helping others, but seeing the satisfaction of relief on their face on things that maybe difficult for them to complete or families with smiles that have stress relieved off of them is satisfying to me. I love what I do and I wouldn't do it any other way. With my experience, I have learned to be patient with others, listening to everyone, and think of all options or approaches before acting.

I love taking care of people it's in my nature. I took care of my uncle before he passed and he had very bad cronic pain and spine problems. I took care of my mother on law as she was passing with cancer. I've got 7 children that I love providing for and taking care of.
