I have been a caregiver in some respects since 1981, when I had the first of my five children! I earned CNA licensure in 1993 or so, and worked in the hospital setting in various departments. I have spent the last 17 years in another form of caregiving -- that is, teaching Spanish in public high school , tutoring, and in industry.
