I think I am a great caregiver because I pay strict attention to the needs and wants of my clients. I became a caregiver, after I retired, because I love people and have a passion to help. What I like most about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to be of assistance in any way that I can for people. I have been doing this for several years either by running errands, fixing or feeding someone their meals. I help by doing light house work, laundry, or whatever someone might need while I am with them. I have worked at St Luke Home for the elderly. I, also, have three sons, who over the last 20 years needed me to assist in getting them to and from doctor and hospital appointments. All three were in need of a kidney and were in one stage of dialysis or in the hospital recovering. All have recovered and are doing well. My last son received his a year and a half ago.
