My grandma worked in the kitchen at a nursing home her whole life and loved it, my mother is a nurse, and then I've went for my CNA, HHA, and Phlebotomist. I've did various work in different environments and worked with a diverse group of people- from pediatrics to geriatrics to trauma patients to regular lab visits and anything in between. I truly love to help people and give the best quality care that I'd want to receive if the shoe was on the other foot. I am hard working reliable and trustworthy, and ready to treat your family as my own! I took care of my husband during his cancer treatments until he passed away in Dec 2017 I took care of a couple in their home for many years until their passing, cleaning, cooking, bathing, retreiving groceries and meds as well as taking them to the Dr. I take care of my fathers need as well.

I became a care giver because I had several family members that needed help plus I cared for my late Husband at home for 3 years with Louies Body deminsia I love helping the older people with things they can not do by them selves At one time several years ago I was a CNA and loved it but didn't make enough money living on my own. I was really proud of myself by being able to take care of my Mother untill she passed and also was able to keep my late Husband at home up till the last year and he had no control of his muscles and had to put him in nursing home but I would be there every day from 7AM to 8PM after I got him in bed. I continued to give him his bed baths after they put him in the nursing home and was there to feed him every meal. I wanted something to do to keep busy plus help supplement my income. This is something I love doing and feel I would be very good at it. I would prefer something here close to home around the Delphi area if at all possible. I do not want to be a live-in but just caregiver to help with all needs as neccesary. I already have criminal back ground check my physical proof of insurance. Because I have applied for 2 other homecare jobs. Hoping to be hired by any homecare company

Hello my name is Leslie. I have been a caregiver for 8 years, I started my journey with group home care with the mental disabled. Two years later I started elderly home care, making sure the elderly get a chance to stay in their own homes where they are comfortable is my pleasure. Taking care of the elderly is something I truly enjoy, letting them know they are not alone one day at a time. I can provide many different types of care, depending on the individuals needs. In 2016 I started my own LLC with the hopes of being able to provide more help to families by caring for their elderly family members. I have cared for indivduals in a wide age range and with many different funtion ability levels. No person is the same, I make a care plan to fit the indivduals needs. I became a caregiver in 2006 my first client was my grandmother when she needed full time care. That's when I knew that caring for people in need was my calling. God has given each of us an amazing trait. I believe mine is caregiving. I have had a lot of experience with hospice. Hospice has shown me many different types of people and how their disease can effect them. My time in the hospital setting gave me a lot of advancement in treatment styles. I'm a trustworthy and dependable person who thrives on one on one time with a patient. My caring heart shines though on every client I have ever had. I've became a care giver when I was 12 years old I took care of my grandmother when she was sick. What really made me became a certified nursing assistant is when I got old enough I took the class because I love to help people I realize that my help would go a long way!! I'm 22 years old I'm in college to became a registered nurse. And I do have a drivers license and own my own vehicle, I just love to help my residents like they are my own family
