My name is Aida I become a caregiver because I care too much when I help people and my goal is to become and RN soon. I'm current working at Carle Hospital as a Health care Technician I'm bilingual and I have a lot of experience as a caregiver.

I have 19 years of experience as a CNA. I am very compassionate and have a huge heart. I used to go to work with my mother as a child at the nursing homes. I knew then that's what I wanted to do when I was old enough. I truly take every patient as a member of my family. I enjoy spending quality time with each patient to fully meet their needs. I love making someone's day brighter.

I'm a former military spouse and mother of 3 that spent 4 years in Europe. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. I'm open, honest and welcome building lasting relationships. Becoming a caregiver has always been easy for me because I am a helper by nature. I find joy knowing that I can make a difference in someone's daily life.

I have been a caregiver for 13 years. I have worked with a lot of different people. I feel that caring for others was my calling. I ran a home health company for years. I enjoyed it but now I just want to work on my own. I have over 15 references.

I highly doubt writing an "about me" could possibly give you a complete understanding of myself as a person. Let alone myself... as a caregiver. I truly do believe I was put here on earth to "take care" of people, to help people. I have been a caregiver as far back as I can remember. Starting with my siblings. I can not recall a time where I was not taking care of someone or something. Working for Gardenview Manor as the assistant director of activities was truly my "dream job". Taking care of my residents, making sure they had what they needed. (Including yet not limited to physical and mental support. )My job was to "keep everyone happy" and I did just that. I came in everyday seeking every possible solution to any and every problem. If my residents were not content, I did not clock out. I stayed and made sure they got what they needed. That is simply how my heart is wired. There are not many people like myself. I say that with complete gumption and honesty.

I have a son that is severely disabled. I have to go through a lot of training for him care. I also work at Central DuPage Hospital in mother baby and and labor and delivery and the ER

I am 41 years old. I currently work for a school district driving a bus so I have a good experience with children. I currently take care of my 87-year-old grandmother on a daily basis doing basic chores mowing her yard grocery shopping all the basic necessities of life. When I was a young girl, I was a CNA so I've always had a passion for taking care of people.

I grew up with my mom in & out of the hospital due to cancer & have always had a drawn connection to health care. Junior year in high school I took a CNA class, Senior year I transferred to EMT class. I didn't graduate with either due to moving a lot. In 2020 , shortly after COVID I had a strong desire to come back to health care. I took a CNA class in Covington, Indiana & didn't care for the nursing home environment. I decided to take college courses for Massage Therapy, fell in love with it & all it's healing properties. I moved to Terrehaute , Indiana and decided it was time to go back to nursing but, didn't want to go to a nursing home. I found Help at Home and become an Aide with them, it was by far the best job I have ever had. I had the opportunity to be in the health field doing what I love but also having that time to have companionship & good relationships with my patients.
