I love to help people, I'm a caregiver for 18 years, like to try my clients with respect and dignity, if the client and family agree, I enjoy to cook homemade fresh healthy meals, keep my client and the place clean, encouraging them to do some activity or exercises, also I can take my client to doctor and therapy appointment, can take vitals, errands...

I believe I'm a great caregiver because I love my job. I am very dependable, trustworthy, and reliable. My favorite part about care giving is going in and making someone feel so much happier and more positive about life no matter what they are going through. Trying to let them know even though they feel down and some feel like giving up I love to make them smile laugh and realize we are here for a reason and make the best of it.

I try to connect with a person through their hobbies. I also feel like having a down to earth trying to understand a person personality helps as well. I live in the country, I put out a garden, I help can, I have put on garage sales, I enjoy flee markets. I enjoy history. Being all around knowledgeable for a few things, and willing to learn about others helps out greatly. I enjoy keeping the person stories alive, and seeing them smile, and appreciate the little things. My personal achievement is when the client calls me there angel or sweetheart, and they explain in there words how I help them, manage through there chores, or ADL's I have worked with many companies, and only a few I can mention. I have been in healthcare for 23+ yrs. I truly enjoy assisting those who are in need no matter what their age. I get along well with everyone, I have never had a family complaint against me.

My Mother was Ill from having cancer this is why i became a Caregiver........ I love being a Caregiver I am going on my 9th year as a Certified Home Health Aide. I LOVE My job and the satisfaction I get from Helping others achieve their goals...One Client I took care of had a stroke well when i took over giving this lady her care me and her decided to continue with her physical therapy ( Just rountine excerices and range & Motion on her left arm & leg ( which was partially paralyzed)..well after 2 months of continuous exercises SHE could use her left hand and actually grip the bar in the Shower! We were so proud to show her husband and Family what Her & I accomplished with a little love and compassion.... she became like My 2nd Momma and she told me i was her Angel girl so with that I love my job . for me I am Family oriented I have 4 living children 9 grandchildren (10th due in August) and 1 great grandson im dependable accurate and very compassionate and just simply love Life!

I became a caregiver because, I enjoy helping the elderly preform tasks that they are no longer able to preform on their own. I am personally proud of being able to do for and help my clients do the things that they need to have done. I am a very dependable person and really enjoy every aspect of this job.

I'm 59 years old and I enjoy taking care of the elderly. My last job lasted 91/2 years till she passed away this last May. I also did caregiving for 2 other people that lasted 4 years between them until their passing.
