I'm a compassionate person that loves people and animals. The joy I can bring to others gives me so much happiness. I've provided care both professionally and personally to a variety of need levels. As the oldest of 3 girls and a Mom that worked as an RN doing 12 hour shifts, I learned caregiving from an early age and realized it was my calling. I'm a proud Ovarian Cancer survivor and very grateful that I have lots of living left to do! I love to learn new things and continue to take college courses each year to exercise my mind. My name is Pastor Duf vaimanah vee. I work as a mental health technician at central state hospital Louisville Kentucky for the past five years (5) and also work as a caregiver in other facilities and I love and have passion in working with disabilities and I been working as a caregiver for the past six years (6) and I'm still working to help others meet their goals.

I have been a C.N.A and or caregiver for about 15 years off and on. I have done in home care, assisted living, and long term care in a skilled facility. Caring for people has always been second nature to me. I enjoy taking care of people, making them feel a high quality of life. I am a mom of 4, with a bonus child and 2 beautiful grandbabies 1 of whom lives with me. I am married and we recently moved to Kentucky and are buying land!

What makes me a good caregiver is empathy and a caring heart. What attracted me to caregiving was a need for a compassionate caregiver for a family member of my own and what a difference it made in a difficult situation. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping people/ families it connects me to others and their gratitude is so rewarding it lets me know I'm doing the right thing. My personal achievement that I am proud of is being a loving mother and wife to my family. I am patient, kind, dependable, and trustworthy.

I had the best example.. my grandmother has been taking care of elderly in her home for over 40 years so she taught me everything that I needed to do this job I feel like God gave me this calling. Everyone that I have taken care of I still remember them to this day. It is a privilege than on a car of a person last moment on her or the last few years.

I was a CNA for about 12 yrs when I was younger and absolutely adored my patients. I had several long term patients as well as doing on call staffing. I currently work in a hospital so you could definitely say I'm a caregiver by nature. I love getting to know new people and hearing the wonderful stories they often tell. I tend to go above and beyond what is needed. Personal achievements-I've raised 4 children (which is a feat!), was a transportation Supervisor for Lextran for 10 years, also taught individuals how to drive straight line large vehicles and prep for CDL, I'm pretty proud of many things in my life and a main one is that I'm a caring person. No patient is a number/client....they are potentially me or my family and I treat them as such.

I am a great caregiver because I don't treat caring for patients as a job. My goal is make my families feel as if I'm one of them. I am very caring and passionate, as well as understanding. I build a personal bond that allows the family and their loved one to feel safe and secure in my care. I decided being a caregiver was my calling once my grandmother became ill with brain cancer and I was responsible for her during the days. Although she was my granny, caring for her allowed me to see life differently, love her even more, and build a bond way different from just that of being her granddaughter. I developed a passion for the responsibilities I had and want to help make more families feel satisfied and at ease knowing their loved ones are in good hands.

I am a state registered nursing assistant and have been certified for two yrs. Where I worked in a nursing home environment I love my job and what I do I am a very caring compassionate and responsible I became I caregiver because my grandmother which practically raised me developed alzhimers and I wanted to be able to care for her and help her the way she did me and my sister growing up but now not only was I able to help her uv this hard time in her life I get to help others be Happy and have a good friend to call on when needed and a companion to talk too I absoluteley live my job I have gained so many life friends and I truly learn so much from my patients they really help me in a way that is indescribable I believe it takes a certain type of person to be a caregiver caring compassionate loving patient and responsible you not only have to help them with their daily care and needs you have to be a friend a companion listen to their stories from life experiences and take the time to care and truly listen I was born to help others and take care of people in need I guess you could say it was my calling" I truly hope to meet you and your loved one and listen and learn from their stories and I can't wait to make a new friend and listen to their life stories and give back to our community by helping those in need I can be contacted through my email address brianakincaid66@gmail.com
