As I got older, caring for my grandparents showed me a different side of caregiving that I loved even more. My parents are both doctors. I grew up around the medical field, seeing people be taken care of. Although I am not a certified medical professional in any way, I know the ins-and-outs of the medical system and how to manage patient care from my experience working in a Physician's office. Duties can include taking vital signs, assisting residents to move about the home or facility, helping them manage their meals and use bathroom facilities, transferring, turning, lifting or positioning bedridden patients, offering emotional support, rehabilitative exercises, bathing, grooming, feeding, and all other aspects of care as allowed by state laws and regulations.
