I took care of her for a little over a year before she passed away. She had two different kinds of dementia, and we loved each other. I helped her with everything. I wasn't working as a caregiver. I was working for a friend of mine in another field, but the clients daughter called me and asked me if I would take care of her and I agreed and we were a good fit. She trusted me and I cared about her a lot. I love being a caregiver because it's rewarding and helping other people touches something in my heart and makes me a happy individual.
