I was first introduced to home care when I was a teenager as my grandmother suffered from Breast Cancer,I became her primary caretaker,so upon my 18 th birthday I went ahead and took the CNA/HHA CLASSES.I truly love what I do,it gives me great pleasure caring for someone,also being able to care for someone who needs to be cared for,and wants to enjoy thier last year's in their home.I have been doing this (care taking) for 26 years. I'm very good with people and have clear communication with others . I'm very universal I get along with all crowds I'm punctual. I have experience in caregiving. People deserve quality of life whether they can clean their homes themselves or care for themselves on their own or not. I like to help those who need it.

I have time and patience for each one of my clients. I strive to make each one top priority when I am with them. My mom and grandmother are nurses and I use to go to work with them. Seeing there patience face light up when they got to work was great. Then watch how they took care of each one. It inspired me to make a difference. I love meeting new people. Traveling to different places. Meeting the families. I am a people person. My greatest achievement is finishing college while raising a family and working.

I am an adult Female that has a good listening ear. I take initiative and I am physically active and strong. I have empathy and I like to put myself in my clients shoe and assist them as I would wish to be assisted, no matter the situation or the circumstances. Even if only to make them smile. That way I feel good that I have assisted and I have accomplished something today. I naturally like helping people and giving them a hand, leaving a person in a better situation than how I found them. For example, I once found a client, depressed and a year long in a wheel chair. Everyday I would encourage her to take a step, even if one. After six months of this practice; she ended up having leg braces and was walking with them plus a cane. No longer in a wheelchair. This is just one of the many achievements, over the years, that I am proud of, in helping different ages, and people from different population, achieve.
