I think what makes me a great caregiver is the feeling that i feel within me that i am helping someone at a time in their lives when they need it,the act of promoting independence and self-esteem gives me pleasure. I owned my own business for a little over six years and I have worked in multiple settings as a private sitter . I am very caring and punctual and enjoy bringing some sunshine into the clients day to day living. I have such a sense of fulfillment and joy knowing that I am on some level helping others to be less lonely while attending to their daily needs and the necessity of feeling cared for and at same time which is of grave importance respecting and responding to their need to be treated with dignity and respect all the while seeing that their needs are meant.
