What makes me a great caregiver, is the love and passion I have to be one to care for another. I enjoy doing it, im not in it for the paycheck, I do it because it makes me feel good knowing I can help someone. I always grew up wanting to help others in one way or another.. I enjoy the smiles I can give someone simply by being there to assist them, knowing someone enjoys my care makes my heart swell. My biggest personal achievement I am proud of, is, my son.

I specialize in many walks of life. I have worked in rehab as well as long term. I am covid vaccinated with booster and cpr certified.

I have been working doing care giving since i was 12 when my aunt had a hernia removed and the nurses that came in started showing me how to change the dressings and change her iv tubing. I have worked in health care most of my life. I took care of my mom and grandparents. I was trained at UofM wound care clinic for my mom. I also went to school for medical assistant. I experience taking care of wounds, autistic, dementia,Alzheimer's, people with hearing and vision and who are bed bound. Ive worked with people on hospice. I love helping others and taking care of them and helping them living there best life. I love listening to the stores people tell me. Especially the elderly the stories they tell sometimes have great lessons behind them. I still talk to some of my cleints i took care of they message me or if i see them out at the store they come up and give me hugs and tell me how much they love and miss me which makes me feel good and that i could be a positive person in their lives. I have had cleints that had noone else and who i made a differnece in their lives when they thought no one cared about them. One of my personal achievements is i dropped out of high school to take care of my mom so after she passed i was in my 20s i went back to school got my GED and went to college.

I have been a caregiver for 16 years now. I absolutely love what I do, and being able to help my clients. I'm very compassionate and loving with my clients, usually building deep bonds with them. I treat my clients as if they're family! Because, honestly after a while of taking care of them they become family. It warms my heart knowing my clients get excited to see me and look forward to it. This is my life long career I wouldn't want to be doing anything else!

I'm Vanessa! I love helping others, more than myself It seems. I love cleaning, and helping anyone that needs it. No matter what it is, I will do it, without hesitation. I'm a housekeeper, I have professional experience, and also elderly care, and multiple surgery recovery experiences, cancer patient experiences, (they couldn't walk, get dressed, take medications, go to the bathroom or do anything on thier own). It really hurt seeing them like that, but I was helping them as much as I could, staying the night to make sure everything was done for them, cooking, snacks, medication at the right times, multiple times a day. Lifting them up right, so they can eat and take medications, also lifting them into a small wheelchair like thing to take them to the bathroom, assist them to the toilet and help with undressing and dressing. All of it. Eveything and anything.
