I started my career of caregiving In 1983 where I provided in home care for an elderly lady for 18 months. In 1984 I worked for Minnesota DHS with developmentally disabled persons. In 1989 I began working for the Minnesota DOC until I retired in 2020. I love to help people achieve their goals and I really enjoy seeing people happy. I am currently teaching myself some wood working, furniture refinishing and some art.

I've been a CNA for 4.5 years and a caregiver for about 2 years. I did care for an elderly lady prior to being certified as a nursing assistant. I've done all activities such as bathing, eating, mobility, dressing, making beds, taking vital signs, etc

I'm kind, have empathy and patience. I started out by taking care of my mother. I enjoy adding joy to someone's day. I took care of a couple in their home and was able to fulfill their wishes of staying in their home together until they passed.

**PLEASE READ**I have a regular 9-5 so I am only fully available on the weekends. I have a short window of 2hrs if in the Saint Paul area on the weekends and late evenings for 2hrs. Hi,my name is Gamada. I have been caregiver for the last 8 Year's I loved it in the beginning and I still love it. one day I want to open my own adult family home. I have experience and right training. I use to work in the hospital as a cook for patients when I was in Minnesota and from there I start caring more and more for the patients even though I am just making food but it's beyond making food, I am making a difference in their daily lives and that's when I decided to become a care giver and I love helping people from young to elderly. it's some thing that I am proud of doing.

What makes me a great caregiver is I'm compassionate, trustworthy, patience, and I'm also naturally dependable. I've become a caregiver because I care and love to take care of others. I love making a difference in someone else life.

People always tell me that I talk to everyone,. I think it's because I'm truely interested in people, and I have compassion and empathy. I have a natural ability to make people feel at ease. Ive actually been taking care of people close to me for many years. I've been working as a PCA for an agency for 10 years . Right now I only have 2 morning clients, so I can work most afternoons.
