Since I was a little girl going to the nursing home with my school choir singing and dancing for the residents always made them happy . At 19 I went and got my C.N.A license and went from there pursing my passion . I love caring for the elderly! Elderly individuals have done so much for the younger generation, I feel the least I can do is try to make their days the best they can be. I enjoy the bond that I build with each of my patients and the families. I also enjoy learning the history of my patients, the trials and tribulations they have encountered throughout their life. I am a 41 year old female. I have 4 children. My youngest was born in 2002 and was my inspiration for becoming a caregiver. He was born with a couple of syndromes and lots of medical challenges. This I became very good at taking care of him. Was a natural caretaker when I was growing up as I was told from family members and friends. This situation made me want to become a professional caregiver and has allowed me to be able to see some of the most common medical equipment and machinery that is used these days.
