Long story short I took care of my grandfather right up until he died in 2014. I've been a certified nurse assistant for almost 5 years now. I'm a very energetic person who can catch on fast. Hello I've been in the health care field for 8 years now. I love what I do and building long term with clients. I've seen and pretty much done everything. I'm dependable and have a great work ethic.

I feel that being a caregiver is a wonderful opportunity. It enable someone to stay in their own home for as long a possible. This is the greatest gift you can give. Over the past 10 years I have been a caregiver for several family members. I enjoy being with them making them laugh while doing daily task. I believe laughter is a very good medicine. I enjoy spending time getting to know them. By listening to the stories of their past experiences, I get an idea of what their likes and dislikes are. I try to plan things they would enjoy doing. I enjoy art, photography, magic, clowning, cooking, and bird watching. That wasn't a typo I'm a professional clown. I began clowning 20 yrs. ago as a way to reach children in my Sunday school class. I'm a Christian clown I perform for church Rally Day's, V.B.S., Sunday School events. Along with the usual birthday, company picnics, festivals. I enjoy bringing a little joy and laughter into someones life. I know there's an appropriate time and place and I'm respectful of that. I have not been a paid professional caregiver. I have been in the New Homes Sales Management industry for most of my life. I have found that my mothering / caregiving personality would love to be able to follow the passion I have had for years. Caring for and raising my children were experience like none other. I have had a very successful career and am now looking to follow a career path that comes more from the heart than from sales projection goals. I think this is a good career path as I enjoy the care part of even helping those through the build process of their home. I was probably born to be a care giver.
