Hello my name is Rebecca I have 22 years in the medical field. I am a medical assistant looking to find new avenues for patient care outside of the office or hospital setting. I always try to be extremely helpful in any situation.

I'm a very cheerful person who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver in 2018 and thought I'm not sure if this is for me but we will see! Well 4 almost 5 years Later I love what I do no matter the person, age or problems they have Being able to help someone and be their friend at the same time make me enjoy my work much more. Being a healthcare worker is more than just a job/career to me it's my life and I enjoy every bit of it. My most recent achievement I am proud of as a caregiver was helping an elderly lady a couple of houses down from me and she had fallen outside there was no one around to help her at the time, my family and I had come home from a night out so I put my children in the house and ran over to make sure she was okay and proceeded to help her up check her scratches and bruises out and help her inside her home. It was actually the same lady who gave me a hard time at one point but that time nothing else mattered.

A caregiver for 1 year

I'm retired, looking for something more on a part-time basis. I have been a care giver for Hospice in New Bern NC for years. I have worked with Dementia patients, with dietary restrictive patients, Cancer patients. I have done light cleaning, bathing, laundry, ensures med were being taken, alerted when meds needed. I enjoy ensuring that the people I have been paired with are well taken care of and the needs they have are met, if not by me, I don't mind stepping aside to allow for trained professionals work with the patient. I like to ensure the patient is getting all I have to give them. I am a Non- smoker I did not have the COVID shots or any of the boosters for COVID.

Hello, I have taken care of my aging parents and in-laws for the past several years and enjoy being the companion to others in need. I found caregiving very rewarding. I also have worked in the hospital and medical office settings for over 35 years as support staff. I enjoy arts and crafts and working with the young and old sharing my skills.

I'm 65 I was a caregiver for 25 years. I had my CNA license in Columbus, Georgia. I work with a lot of Alzheimer's patients and assisting whatever they need. That's going to the store groceries Taken it to the Doctor appt.. I live in North Carolina now.

I have my associates in healthcare administration and clinical. I love helping people working with them to have a better quality of life. I always had a love for the healthcare field and being able to help and provide services for those who can or can't no longer do for themselves or can. I love to just be there for someone who doesn't have a person or just need someone so they don't feel so lonely.

I have been in the Home Health Care / CNA field since 1999. I enjoy being one-on-one with my clients. My main desire is to assit anyone that is able to continue to live in their home and have some help with being self assisted.I believe everyone deserves to be cared for by a person who genuinely understands about their feelings an enjoy's helping make them safe an confident about themselves.

I am 40 years old. I was an LPN for 19 years. I have been a personal caregiver for the past 3 years. In my nursing career I have worked in nursing homes and in a critical care hospital. I enjoyed both very much but my heart is in geriatric care. I have specialized in caring for dementia patients for the majority of my career. I love taking care of people and take great pride in my work. I have learned a lot while working in the healthcare field but my favorite thing about this work is that you continue to learn new things every day. Each person I care for is different and original in the things they like and dislike and getting to know them is key to being the best caregiver I can be. No matter what I learned in school the best education I could ever get comes from getting to know each one individually and having the opportunity to work with them.
