I first began being a caregiver right after I graduated high school. I was unable to start college & needed a job to provide. My first caregiving position was at an assisted living facility. I had an amazing woman who trained me & that I worked with very often. She was an older woman and would always make sure I knew the correct way of taking care of each and every resident. I have always wanted to help others, take care of them, and do whatever I can to make sure they are well!

I am a license CNA.with 24 yrs experience . years ago i took care of an elderly lady for a friend and my heart felt bad that she wasnt being care for so I gave her the best care i could and ever since then its what i have done . I like to spend time with the elderly they have wonderful heart and have the best wisdom ever. I have become family to some of my patients family and they are very happy that they choose me to care for their parents.

As a young adult watching my grandmother fight cancer and being a part of her caregiving experience I realized the need for so many out there who needed assistance and that began my search for individuals I could help. I am the oldest child of 8, a mother, former preschool teacher, and have taken care of others nearly my entire life. From friends recovering from surgeries and other medical procedures to family members fighting for their lives and my many students with heath issues and extreme limitations and restrictions over the years...nothing brings me the joy and fulfillment that taking care of others brings. I am CPR and first aid certified and will begin my journey to get my CNA and Home Health Aide certifications soon.
