Hello. My name is Melissa. I used to work in assisted living facilities back in the early 2000s. I have experience with the elderly along with alzheimer disease. My grandmother moved in with my family. I took care of her for about 7 years until she passed away 3 years ago. In the time I have taken care of someone in the last years of their life, I feel like I have helped them whether it is just sitting and listening to them talk about old times or helping with daily needs. I am proud of my 4 children. Through having to stay at our restaurant 6 days of the week, going to school and doing their homework, and going through the transition of life with their great-grandmother. They are tough and I am so proud of them.

I am a license CNA.with 24 yrs experience . years ago i took care of an elderly lady for a friend and my heart felt bad that she wasnt being care for so I gave her the best care i could and ever since then its what i have done . I like to spend time with the elderly they have wonderful heart and have the best wisdom ever. - when l took my nursing practice they gave me the elderly rom all the time and it was the most beautiful thing, because with them we shared anecdotes and beautiful stories together. I love what I do let me start off by saying that and I believe when a person live their job it's for them to not be an problem when it comes to doing their job. I love taking care of people I think I get that from my nana (grandmother) she always had me with her as she was doing her work and I think I took it interesting bad an child I enjoy the look on clients face when you have given them good news about their loved one it could be something so small but it's really huge because of the fact that they have been trying to get them to do it and maybe they would not but now that they are that's an accomplishment my personality also has alot to do with the type of work I do for example me being sooooooooo caring and I know it may sound a lil not good but I do tend to worry if people are not ok or feeling well and I try to do whatever I can in order to change that. I am proud of me taking the time and getting on the path to what I wanted to do in the long run so early by going to job corps for C.N.A I could not have did anything greater because I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do because I love to take care of people.
