I am studying psychology at the Masters level At Northcentral University I have many years caring for relatives and friends ailments from Kidney Cancer , Huntington Disease and liver disease and dementia

I am very compassionate and empathetic. I have taken care of others for many years including family members suffering from dementia as well as other cognitive and physical disorders. I enjoy helping others obtain happiness and contentment while being able to live in a home setting. The best part of being a care giver is the personal reward. My proudest personal achievement is being a mom and nana.

Over the years I lost all four of my grandparents to cancer. I became a caregiver because I want to help people that are going through the same obstacles they once were. Helping people is my passion. The best feeling in the world is making a slight difference in one's life, making someone smile is everything. When I take care of my resident's and I recieve a smile it makes me feel like I've done a wonderful job. What attracted me to caregiving is going to the nursing home everyday and seeing my grandfathers nurses and aides come in, they always had a smile on their face and it gave him one too. The things they did for him were amazing and I wanted to do the same for someone else's grandparents.

I became a caregiver to help others in their time of need and give the best care possible. I enjoy helping others and also being inspired to be my best in what I do in life and the career I chose. I have been chosen from numerous people to be the supervisor of the majority of my cases, which inspires me to give my all. I have been a caregiver for 28yrs plus, Making sure my clients are comfortable and happy with the care given. I am 52 reside in Canandaigua, children raised and grown, can be flexible with times needed, I have exper. in alzheimers, cancer, stroke, term. ill, etc.. also have exper. with catherdors, hoyers, j-tubes, wheel chairs, bed stricken, etc.., I can clean, cook, shop, take to appts., etc.. I enjoy what I do for others.

I am a very caring and lovable person. I enjoy helping others the best that i possibly can. When i was younger I use to go to work with my step mom who was a CNA and i enjoyed being able to make a diffrrence in the residents lifes. The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver, is that i actually get to take time out of my day to meet new people and put a smile on others faces. I am most proud of the fact that i get to wake up knowing I am being the best mom I can be and also being the vest CNA that I Can be.

My name is Tosha, and I have been an LPN for almost 10 years. As a nurse, some of my personality traits that help me excel in this role are empathy, patience, and attentiveness. Being able to help others and provide them with comfort and care brings me a sense of fulfillment and purpose. As for a personal achievement I'm proud of, I once helped a patient regain their independence after a serious injury. I have been in the home health care since 1997 when I became working with veterans. I have worked for nursing homes as well as Ontario arc and seneca cayuga arc. I have worked part time for private duties jobs as well. I love helping participants have the best quality of life. I'm very out going and organized. I believe that living a routine life helps consumers complete daily tasks and helps reach goals. I wear my heart on my sleeve and people label me as a nurturer. I can make the most difficult person open up to me. I'm dependable and reliable . I love to cook and clean. I'm willing to take on challenges.

I start nursing school in September and I am looking for side jobs to help me pay bills I have wanted to be a nurse for a very long time. Nursing is who I am and what I do.
