Hello, My name is DeAnna. I have been in the line of health care for 13 years, working in nursing homes as a state Certified Nurses Aide as well as in private homes as a Home Health Aide. I have worked with many various ailments both mental and physical. I specialize in rehabilitation, Alzheimer's/Dementia, and skilled nursing/hospice. I love knowing that I am making a positive difference in someone's life! I also own and operate a senior care and service company. I have a great group of girls that were my co-workers until I decided to make my own business. Our caregivers range from Companions to C.N.A's and I am looking into to hiring a nurse to join our team. I actively work as a cargiver within my company and make minimal profit off hours I dont personally work as a care giver. What this means is I have well paid aides who enjoy working for/with me and I can take the burden of hiring and scheduling cargivers off your shoulders. We have on call aides to fill in should anything unexpected come up for a caregiver so you need not ever worry about someone not coming. About 10 years ago, my great grandmother had a stroke and is now paralyzed completely on her left side. I took time to take care of her all throughout high school and still now. I would stay the night with her and get her up and ready in the morning before I went to school. Just this past year, my great grandpa found out that he had throat cancer. He currently has had a trachea port put in. With that being said, I have been with him and my great grandma taking care of her needs and taking care of him, cleaning the port and transporting them to and from their doctors appointments.
