Welcoming you with warm wishes. Just wanted to share alittle about me. I'm 34 yrs old. I've worked since age 14yrs. My mom was a single mom raising 3 kids. I enjoyed working hard and I have always been a giving hearted person. I remember I used to get my paychecks an was so excited I was able to but my mom dinner from a days hard of work. I was first introduced to an entry level position in the State of Kansas as a Residential Trainer for people who face physical and mental challenges and I did that for 3 years. It was so rewarding. Very hard work but I have always been very open to learning new things and I enjoy challenges. If we stay in where were comfortable. The you limit yourself from learning and doing what you can to be the hands and feet for Gods kingdom. After doing that for 3 yrs I decided to get my nurses aide license and doing that for so many years has been such a wonderful opportunity. I absolutely love my elders and I AM THE VOICE WHO SPEAKS UP FOR THEM. I believe that there is way too many people shoved in a room with a facility that lacks sufficient staffing to give the residents attention to give them the essentials like a regular bath and hygiene and clothes put on. I've seen too much of the THE BAD AND THE UGLY in institutions and to me that's NO WAY for anyone to live or spend there retirement in. I love talking and sharing stories, praying, I enjoy providing exceptional care to all clients I come in contact. I'm very friendly. My passion in life is people going above and beyond the call of duty. I'm flexible and reliable as I dont have any kids. Just 3 sweet dogs. I am going on my third year of college, and my third college as well. I am finishing up my surgical nursing degree at Marion Technical College with a Surgical Technician certification and a phlebotomy certification as well. I have spent time in caring for my grandmother while she was in and out of the hospital, and I will provide compassionate care to those who need. My job as a future nurse is to provide comfort and love to patients varying different health conditions. My ideal job profession in the future is to work in hospice as well. When I was younger, I had a heart disease and my life-long goal is to give back to nurses and patients with 110% passionate and sympathetic care.

I became a caregiver because my mother was a nurse. She did home health care for years and she always talked about how much she loved it. When I started into this field it was in hospice care and I loved it. I loved being there with families and helping them through the very difficult times. I always spent more time than required so I could ensure that things were the best they could be considering the situation. I tend to be a fairly quite person at first but become chattery once I feel comfortable. I have always been that way but I have become better with age. I love helping people. And spending time just talking if that's all they would like.

Being a caregiver has been very rewarding in knowing I am able to make others feel good in their daily lives with assistance of daily living. They feel secure which makes me feel good and proud to assist. I have alot of compassion and heart for anyone.

I am great at everything i do. Very out going and i have a deep care for other's. Nursing is not about the rate of pay, I believe it is about compassion for other's . I love what I do. And to be apart of someones life and provide exceptional care. I am a mother of 3 , hard working and very friendly. At every care position i have held i have received multiple rewards and recognition from the care I give. I do not feel inadequate in any aspect of my life, training or my abilities as a caregiver/ nurse.

I have been working in this field for over 15 years. I specialized in hospice and wounds. I have worked for many families and some great doctors. I have over 40 certifications, I am cpr/first aide certified, phlebotomist and vent trained. I love helping people and making their days brighter in any way I can.

Hi, My name is Regchal but it's said Rachael different, Yes I know lol. Am 23 years of age graduate from high school have two childeren of my own that I love to the Moon and back. Yet I decided to become a caregiving back in 2006 when my mother had to get open heart surgery she had an 80% blockage of the heart ovary basically devastated the whole family thing were chaotic but I myself had to pull it together and be her strength I was only 16 when I took care of my mom after heart surgery I got offered a job at Cleveland Clinic one of the biggest hospital in the world to be an aide there yet, my mom thought I was to young at the time. I love what I do and I am good, but what makes me great and stand out from other is that I have a passion for it, it's God's gift to me to be nurturing and with this gift I was and still is my mother back bone, to others it's just wiping butt and cleaning people but to me it's a whole lot more then just that, I myself as an nursing Aides become attracted Family we build trust tell stories cry together we get through the storm to get to the sun but you have to do this with a caring heart so our resident build confidence and say they can instead I can't.

For me, being a caregiver isn't just a career. It's my calling in life. I feel as though it's what I was put here to do. My very first job at age 18 was as a caregiver for a lady with MS. I cared for her as a live in for nearly three years with one day off weekly. I then moved to direct care for disabled individuals and have accumulated several years experience. I am certified in first aid/ CPR, medication administration, insulin trained, and have a wide path of experience to fall back on. I was also caregiver for my mother for five years until she passed from ALZ. I am currently attending college studying Human and Social Services to better provide for those I work with and for. I believe that being a caregiver requires a special individual, just as special as those I care for. I have always felt that the individuals I have met and worked with have each been a blessing in their own way and I am the lucky one for having them in my heart and life. I view my clients as family, nothing less. I am dedicated, sincere, patient, full of good humor, not easily upset, and my greatest joy is making others happy. That's the biggest benefit of all. Throughout my time junior year I worked in a nursing home and found myself having a deep connection to the elderly and hoping that I could better their lives in some way throughout my time. I would experience residents crying and sharing feelings of sadness, during these times I found myself deeply sympathetic and understanding and never felt frustrated or annoyed at these feelings. My personal achievement would be getting employee of the month, not from the work place, but from a long term resident who would pick workers who effected her. I enjoy the conversations I got to have with residents telling me stories of when they grew up, spending my lunch breaks with different residents, and getting to fill up bird feeders outside their windows.

Companion, trustworthy, non judgmental, loves to communicate and always listens. I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that i can be the one to go above and beyond, i want these people's families to trust that their getting what they need & deserve. STNA License CPR certified First-Aid
