Hello my name is Julie Miller! I'm from Athens Ohio. I became a caregiver about 8 years ago when my dad was diagnosed with cancer. When he passed away that's when I decided that's what I wanted to do as a career is to become a caregiver and help other like I help my dad and other family members. It make me feel really blessed to be able to be apart of people lives and help them as much as possible

I am a fun, outgoing person who loves meeting new people! I have the ability to multitask and respond to patient needs while being attentive to patients well-being and safety. I'm a very caring person who has experience working with people who have dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes or people who just need a little extra help through out the day. My achievements was working with a lady who fell into depression following the death of her only remaining son, who had some type of rare cancer, but didn't think he was going to die,while she was also in the hospital recovering from hip replacement.I walked into her and her grandchildren's life Three weeks after the son's death. I was assigned to work with her to recuperate from her surgery, but I ended up being like a therapist to the family. And thanks be to God, her depression, was very well controlled with medication, and We became very good friends. So to me I think, that's was my greatest achievement And am always grateful and proud of that .

What makes me a great caregiver is my friendly personality, being reliable and being very detailed.I also have 5 year experience, which includes a large range of people from conditions as physical and mental disabilities to bed bound patients to people who just want companionship. I have been a career Nanny / Household Manager/ Private Cook and Home Health Care Aide. I've been very fortunate with meeting and working for some wonderful families over the years caring for their homes, pets and children ages newborn through teenage years. In addition, I've raised my own daughter and now enjoying time with her beautiful daughter. I have been both a live-in and live-out Domestic here in Ohio, Maine, Palm Beach, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
