I have 16 years of care experience. Have worked with mentally challenged and disabled. Specialize in Alzheimer's/ Dementia clients along with short/long term hospice care. Full care assistance from daily hygiene, meal preparation, medications prompting, transporting and light housekeeping. I am a non smoker, honest, respectful and reliable. I'm fully Covid vaccinated and don't have a problem with wearing a mask.

I am very compassionate and empathetic with excellent communication skills. I grew up with so much love and attention especially from my grand parents so when when my grandmother became ill with dementia it was a great honour to have the pleasure of taking care of her. Because I know who she was before the illness I could provide her all the love, respect and understanding she deserved. Continuing to care for my grand father after my grand mother died made me realize I wanted to build a career in care giving. Every day I have spent giving care has been indescribable blessing and inestimable pleasure. Learning from the wealth of experience of my Clients when we talk and seeing the world through their eyes is prizeless. Aging is inevitable to all and the least the younger ones can do is to show and give the older ones all the respect, care, tender love, attention and most importantly, revive their self-esteem.

Passionate about quality and caring home care for those in need and desiring to remain in familiar surroundings during their golden years. I am an active semi retired caregiver. It has been said that I can work circles around those half my age. My background is that of a dedicated, hard worker that was taught how to be proficient yet caring in a time when a bedside manner was important. I started out as an aide and was taught and expected to manage in home care that today requires a two + year degree. I currently care for a gentleman during the week, part-time with dementia. After giving a two week notice my start date is flexible but I am available immediately for weekend position. I am an amateur chef. My passion is first and foremost my family. I am interested in genealogy, history, reading, journaling, gardening and non-political current events. I can hold an intelligent conversation and I am an excellent listener. I cared for my mother in home during the last six of her 94 years. She suffered with dementia, diabetes (insulin dependent), arthritis, incontinence and mobility issues. She wanted to spend her last days in her own home for which I am very thankful I was able to be instrumental in granting her wish. I have spent 30+ years, off and on, in the health care industry in positions of nurse aide and home health care aide. I have hospice experience. I value life and respect end of life wishes. I hope that as I age that I will have someone who will show me the same respect, care, empathy and loving commitment to my care as I provide to my patients.

I have worked in the health field for 45 years. I have a passion for caring for the elderly. I started out in high school as a Red Cross Volunteer at a local Nursing Home. I owned and operated my own Veterans Foster Home out of my Old Victorian 5 bed/4 bath Home on the Arkansas River in Colorado for 8 yrs.

I was a critical care nurse for 12 years in Orlando Florida, I am retired . I took care of my father with cancer for 6 years and my mother who had cancer a stroke blind in one eye for years. I also help the Amish in Ohio with elderly care medical instruction and medications. I enjoy working with elderly people and being an individual with mild fibromyalgia myself I understand and can relate to a person experiencing pain and disability. My mother was a nurse and worked until her 70,s. I worked in the funeral industry 6 years after retiring from nursing. I attend church pre-Covid on sundays and enjoy my grown grandchildren here in Greenville. I prefer to work afternoons and evenings or weekends.

I believe in going beyond the call of Duty to make sure the clients and families are Satisfied, I started when I was 12 yrs old taking care of my neighbor that had surgery, she had know family and I would go everyday after school to make sure she was ok. I always found myself reaching out to help someone I Love children I had a baby that was left in my store and I adopted him. He was 6 mos old and Now 30 a very find Young Man, I have raised many of children..
