I worked as a caregiver for on an off for 12 years.

I feel drawn to taking care of others. I served as a medical specialist for one term in the US Army National Guard. I also served as shift floor first responder at plants I worked at over the years while a cnc machinist. It has been my privilege to assist with hospice care for family and others through word of mouth. I've gone as far as getting ordained so I could spend time with one of the gentlemen I was caring for who requested me while in ICU. (They would only allow family and clergy.) I've worked with people recovering and in cancer treatment, dementia, alzheimers, deaf, blind, bed bound, mobility issues using wheel chairs and walkers, among other issues. As a caregiver, I have done many things: kept written log for family if needed, light housekeeping, baths and showers, laundry, medication monitoring, errands, helping with making and keeping appointments, the occasional over night stay, meal prep and much more. I'm also a mother of a child with a cleft pallet who also went through years of heart issues until she had surgery, and have a daughter with autism as well so special needs I'm more than comfortable with. It is my goal to make sure the comfort and safety of every individual meets their specific needs. As a caregiver, I treat everyone as extended family.

I am very patient and considerate. When comes to caregiving I like to have a sense of humor and keep my spirit joyous so that I can serve with my best. I started caregiving for my mother in 2009 and have been doing it ever since. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing the satisfaction of my loved ones; knowing that their needs have been met. I wouldn't say I have a personal achievement to be proud of per say, because I haven't perfected being a caregiver. But I'm proud of the fact that I give of myself to others in need.

I'm a certified HHA. I love what I do, and have been a home aide for over ten years. When I put on my scrubs to me it's more like putting on a cape. My grandparents were put in nursing homes when I was young and treated horrible , so I made the decision to provide care in people's homes so they can remain comfortable.. I love what I do

I am a very open minded caregiver. That loves to help anyone that's in need. I am great at assisting anyone who is in need of meals preparing, shopping,Dr's Appointments, reminding them to take there medicine, assisting them with there hygienes and baths, helping them pay there bills and house cleaning and laundry whatever's needed I'm all here for it!

I'm a loving caring person I love to laugh and make everyone laugh and feel comfortable. I love caring for people my grandparents were sick and growing up we had to take care of them and I just want to be able to help and take care of other people that need help.. I enjoy just seeing my clients and making them laugh and just be there for them. One personal achievement in my life that I'm proud of is me never giving up when life did get hard for me!!

I have a pleasant personality, I like to make people smile or laugh, because I care. I enjoy helping people to be or do their best. What I enjoy mostly about being a caregiver, is meeting new people and touching someone's live or them touching my live in a positive way. Helping people is me giving back to my community and making this world a better place , when we show love and compassion toward one another.

What drives me to this kind of work , is the joy it brings to their life.. I'm very caring , I listen, I'll go above and beyond for my clients. My females get there hair and nails done me.. I try and make sure they don't feel trapped inside all the time .
